    Wow, Eclipse has been awesome. I came from Applied Wintam and could not be happier. Easy to learn; reports; checkwriting; realtime; great downloads; easy to view customer policy lists/coverages; reconciling commissions; now texting; drag/drop to customers; pdf decs tied to policy numbers; price hasn’t changed in years; the person that answers your service call can help you…no call backs!

  • We were Applied users for MANY (over 20) years. Our final platform was WINTAM. We are very satisfied with Eclipse. We’ve been on the system since February 2018. The accounting is very easy. The financial reporting is very nice, and very easy to read and verify. Email integration in client files is really helpful. The ability to build a doc type (activity) from the initial contact to the sale all in one entry is awesome. We use ACS as our comparative rater, it does work with Eclipse. Reporting is easy, and if a report is needed that is not stock, NASA can build it for you. One thing I miss is being able to queue letters into a single batch to be printed later. NASA support is AWESOME. You get a live person when you call. Emails are returned promptly. When you are training, you get a specific person and they are your mentor. They go over and above to help with whatever the issue you have is, even if it turns out not to be “their” problem. We are glad we made the switch!

    We are a small agency of only 3 users and had never used a management system before. So very grateful we chose NASA Eclipse! The training was wonderful with such friendly helpful staff – (Shout out to Murriya and Deb!) The system was easy to learn, and has really streamlined our production.
    The customer service is fantastic. They are so friendly, so helpful and help is immediate.

    We have had Eclipse for years and they have excellent service and listen when we have questions. The rates are reasonable and they are always there when we need them. Some one always answers the phone. I would recommend to anyone if they want great service and reasonable rates.

  • Moving to Eclipse has been great for our agency. System is much more friendly to use that our prior system. The training was phenomenal and anytime I need to call support they are great. I really like how they are able to shadow in. I can’t stress enough what a great job the folks in support do.

    We have been very satisfied with the Eclipse system. They have a way to have documents downloaded from our companies to go directly into our system so it saves us a lot of time going and searching around for the correct paperwork. Their support staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their system so they are usually able to answer any questions we have in a timely fashion. It’s also nice that they can shadow in and actually see what we are seeing to better service our needs. The system is very user friendly as well.

    Our agency switched to Eclipse from Applied 6 years ago, and are very pleased with the decision. We felt that Applied had too many features that we were paying for, and didn’t know how to use. Eclipse took out the bells and whistles we weren’t using, taught us how to use the available features, increased staff productivity and an affordable cost for an agency of under 10 users. Their online system provides off site back up, frees up our server space and allows us to work from home during inclement weather. Their customer service is excellent, when you call you get a live person every time, without having to Press 1 or hope you chose the right prompts. They can log in remotely to trouble shoot. Their user meetings are very helpful and informative and a great way to meet and interact with their staff. Definitely the right choice for our agency.

    We have been using NASA for several years. We love customer service. They are so helpful and go out of there way to help. Great way to document everything that goes on in the agency. Automatic date and time stamp feature is helpful when you go back to see what went on for a specific date. Real-time capability’s help our office run smoothly. I would highly recommend using NASA’s services.

  • We were with AMS since 1980 something, paying the monthly fee. Even when the system was so old they couldn’t support it any longer (didn’t tell us) they kept billing us. Tells you how often we actually used support. We stopped that and was using Quickbooks for several years, modified to suit our needs but still had to keep paper files.

    One day as I was researching agency management systems, I came across Eclipse. The info was complete, the salesperson knowledgeable and prompt, the training was superb, the price reasonable and the support impeccable. I would highly recommend this product.

    I have a small 2 person agency. We switched from EZ Agent (by Agency Software) to Eclipse a couple years ago, and it was a great move. The transfer from the other system was easy, we had plenty of time to double check that the data was transferring properly before we went live. The training and support is second to none. It’s very easy to file documents, downloads make daily filing simple and easy. If you are not using an agency management system, Eclipse is a great one to use. It’s affordable and easy to use. The only big decision is whether you want to host and backup locally or use the online version….

  • We switched from AIMS to Eclipse about 5 years ago. The process was made as easy as possible. The system is easy to use and support is available immediately. We are very pleased with Eclipse.

  • We have been with the Nasa Eclipse system for about 6 years now. It has been a learning experience. The customer service at Nasa has been great. They are all very willing to help you solve any issues they can and are very willing to walk you through the system and show you how to do different things. They are open to suggestions to help improve the system. Overall we have been very happy with Eclipse and the customer service.

  • Eclipse met our needs and is the most cost effective agency management system we reviewed. As the IT manager I used to dread periodic updates and upgrades when we had AMS, the procedures were long and required an extra Saturday of sweat and toil. Upgrades now are usually are quick and painless.
    The NASA staff are all ready to help and help with more than a smile; tot he point they feel like your friends. Who-ever thought that was a good business practice is a genius.

  • After using a different agency management system for the past 10 years that we owning our insurance agency, we made the decision to make the switch to NASA last summer. Angie and the rest of the crew were totally awesome. She arranged training times around our schedule and took a lot of time explaining different aspects of this NASA system. The whole staff is great and very knowledgeable , They are right there to help me and my staff with any problems. This system is a great system for our small agency and I have had very few problems with the conversion.

    We have been with Eclipse for approximately 13 years. We transferred from Applied to NASA. The service for the transfer was excellent and the customer service since that date has always been above expectations. Their explanations and walking you through the few situations that have occurred should be a model for all customer service. The ease of use for the entire NASA product is what attracted the agency in the first place and has kept us as a customer. I can recommend NASA with no hesitations.

    I was 100% new to the insurance business, and during my time getting licensed and learning the lingo and the ropes, NASA always kept a great sense of humor with me, and did a lot of one on one training with me, and now, I use them when something out of the ordinary comes up and I always know they will go the distance for me and help me move on with my day! Great STAFF!

    Working with NASA makes my daily work flow so easy. Their system is very user friendly. Their staff is amazing. If, you call and the first person can’t help you they will find that right person. Love that they can shadow in and see what you are doing and they will help walk you through whatever you are needing and you get the hands on doing it for the future while they guide you. Downloading is very user friendly. Overall very happy with their system and staff.

    Our agency had still been using paper files until we started using Eclipse, so we have no background as far as other management systems. However, there will be no need to have any background with other systems in the future because we have had nothing but a great experience since day one! The sales, training, and customer service staff have all been wonderful and have always been willing to help us with everything we needed. Our agency is more than happy with our choice to go with NASA Eclipse!

    We have been with NASA for the last 25 years for our Accounting Software needs. We have added agencies several times due to additional purchases and everyone at NASA has been very helpful with making the move as painless as possible. Whenever we have a question or problem everyone is very helpful in getting the situation taken care of in a timely matter. I would recommend NASA for your agency software program. I feel we are getting our money’s worth and happy with the support we have received.

    Yes. It was a big decision to move from TAM. Have to say the monthly fee increases for a system that wasn’t evolving got to me. There had to be better.

    I had seen Eclipse at a convention and took their cd to the office. Sat for over two years. I popped it in when the research started and WOW..I missed the boat!

    I cannot say enough about easy the move was (in house TAM) and how good the support is. Everything you need moved!

    Is it great for a 30 user agency? I won’t say, but ask someone. For an agency of 20 or less…perfect!

    Monthly fee with TAM was $700+ when I left. Eclipse was $130. Has not risen in 5 years! 8 users or less: Windows peer to peer. No need for Server software or dedicated server (although peer to peer file desktop should be a hot rod). Cost of software was paid for in less than a year.

    My staff loves it!!!

    My experience with NASA support and training has been exceptional. They have download, realtime, and rating integration with most companies and are willing to add any missing if the company will allow. They continue to update and adapt the system to keep up with the industry. Cost has been reasonable with out any large increases. Accounting isn’t as pretty as Quickbooks but it is accurate and I use it because of integration with download, directbill reconcilliation and commission tracking. Some agencies don’t use the accounting and just enter totals from Eclipse into Quickbooks, so that depends on the agency. I have used them since 2001. I’m sure there are others. They do offer their system as both onsite (like I have) and hosted. They can and do handle large agencies and multiple locations.

    We’ve been with the NASA Eclipse system now about 6 years moving from the old AMS Pioneer system. Our thoughts at the time of purchase and even now is all about value- getting the biggest bang for the buck. Eclipse maybe doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the AMS and Applied systems but we frankly, like most agents, wouldn’t have used most of them anyway. We want a simple, easy to use, affordable system and NASA is that. Besides the initial purchase we pay an annual $2400/yr fee (5 users) for instant support (no being put on a list and waiting to be called back) and all software updates. While their support is tremendous, I do have to admit that their initial training (6 yrs ago) was lacking but I think they’ve fixed that. Their software is in continuous improvement and they do respond to your suggestions. I agree with Lyle that the addition of real time companies has been slower than desired but they are continually adding co’s and working on it. Their system design is simple and intuitive and doesn’t take very long to learn. Unfortunately there is only one national user mtg every other year- usually in inconvenient Minneapolis- and there’s been little support for local user group development- which would help us all. Overall,we are very happy with NASA and our goal of getting a good bang for the buck- we feel is true.

    We switched from Applied to Eclipse a year ago. Great product for a smaller agency. Easy to use and great service. Only complaints would be the limited number of real time carriers our shop uses.
